Born May 4, 1995, Crystal Peña is a bold, passionate, and driven young woman. Despite her young age, she has already excelled in several fields of endeavor.
A life-long animal lover, Crystal took up horsemanship at the age of 8, earning numerous championships in show jumping and barrel racing throughout her pre-teen and teen years. What’s more, from the age of 14 through her early 20s she launched and operated a successful equine-related service business.
In mid 2020, Crystal changed gears, selling her horses and turning to mountain biking as a new hobby. She took to the new sport readily – a local group of mountain biking enthusiasts introduced her to local trails and proper equipment, and Crystal was immediately hooked.

Throughout her young life, Crystal’s commitment and attitude have combined with her extraordinary natural abilities to create exceptional results – and her new mountain biking career is just the latest example. Spring-boarding from her early biking success, Crystal now aspires to compete at higher levels and continue honing her skills. Truly she is someone to watch — a world-class athlete in the making.

2003 – Crystal discovers the sport of show jumping
2010 – Crystal transitions into the sport of barrel racing, riding her Paso Fino horse Princesa.
